I had a few expiring +Up rewards, so I decided to buy myself a DYMO label maker! I've been wanting one of those for years!I took it out of the package before even taking the picture, I had to play with it a little...hahaha. SO, with my 20% discount, $5/$25, and SCR, I was able to get it pretty cheap, here's what I did:

Bought 1 DYMO LetraTag Label maker $23.99 w/ 20% disct. (reg $29.99)

Bought 2 BIC Triumph 537RT 2-pk $3.19 ea w/ disct.

Used $5/$25

Used 2 $2/1 Bic Triumph printable coupons

Used $21 in +Up rewards

Subtotal= 37¢+ tax $2.25

=$2.62 OOP (out of pocket)

Earned, $10 Single Check Rebate for Dymo, $3 +UP rewards for BIC.

Trip to CVS | Dec 10, 2010

Jonathan and I went to CVS hoping we'd be lucky and they still had the Free Planters Flavor Grove almonds in stock....they did! We picked up 2 packs of the Chili & Lime flavor, can't beat FREE! Anyway, Jonathan was looking around and found the Febreze Flameless Luminary starter kits (green tea citrus scent) on clearance for $3.75!!! We didn't have our coupons with us, so we rushed home to see what coupons we had for them. We found a "buy a starter kit, get a free refill" coupon in the latest P&G insert, and also the $4/1 starter kit coupons from the Home Made Simple coupon booklets. We clipped what we needed, and headed back to the store, here's what we did:

Bought 4 Flameless Luminary starter kits (green tea citrus) $15

Bought 4 Flameless Luminary refills (cranberry pear) [only kind] $5.49 each- $21.96

Subtotal: $36.96

Used 4 BOGO coupons (max value $4.99) -$19.96

Used 4 $4/1 coupons from P&G insert (she didn't adjust them) -$16.00

=$1 +tax for everything!!!

***that was an amazing deal, considering the other cranberry pear starter kits we saw were around $15?? Crazy.....

New Information about the Rite Aid gift of Savings!

I got an email from Eric at Rite Aid, and I have good news!!!:

Apparently, many people contacted them about not giving credit on the manufacturer coupon amounts....Well, they've reconsidered!!! Here's what the email says:


"We heard your feedback and we've changed our Gift of Savings coupon policy. To best reward you for shopping at Rite Aid, manufacturer coupons will not be subtracted from your total spend amount. Check your accounts within the next 48 hours to see your recalculated balance. We understand you have a choice of pharmacies and thank you for your continued support of Rite Aid."

Yayyy!!! How cool is that?!..It was getting kinda hard earning money towards the rewards using only our Out of Pocket amount...My fiance Jonathan had been adding countless receipts to his account with little credit towards his certificate...well, he checked his account last night and had already earned his $20! (He actually had over $400 in his account!!!)....Too bad $20 is the most you can earn, otherwise he would have around $80!...lol.
