These are the samples I received in the mail this week: (1/22-1/28/12)
- Sample pack of Enfamil infant formula (4 single serving packs). Still available (HERE)
(I'll be giving these to my friend Carmen who just had a baby, great for the diaper bag)
- 3 Atkins bars. Still available (HERE)
- Coupon for a FREE 18-count pack of Senseo coffee pods, up to $6.99. Still available (see my post HERE about how to get it)
- Benefiber sample from Rite Aid
- Frizz Ease samples from John Frieda on Facebook.
- Hills Bros Gingerbread Cappuccino samples (3-pack)
- 2 packs of MiraLax from Target
- I also got my Pull-ups party pack from House Party, but I'll do a different post about those goodies.
Although I love signing up for freebies, I never use my main email address to sign up for them, just so I won't get "junk" emails filling my inbox. I suggest creating a seperate email account just for your freebie sign-ups, since you'll often start getting newsletters afterwards. :)
This sample is still available if you had not signed up for it yet (like myself). Register with Kleenex.com, and send a package of Kleenex tissue to a friend. Last time this was available, I sent it to my house, but with Jonathan's name (since you can't send to yourself). They send a cute little Kleenex box just like pictured above!

I got an email from Rite Aid about the recent Novartis recall. I was able to take my stash of recalled Excedrin to Rite Aid and got a Merchandise Gift Card for over $20! (yep, I had quite a stash going on! haha). That was a pretty good deal considering I got it almost free with coupons. A couple of bottles didn't scan, so I kept them, it was the green box 24ct caplets maybe I bought them at Walmart or Target? When I asked for my refund, the cashier (who knows I'm a couponer) called the manager over and asked her, "How do we know what she actually paid for them?", the manager replied, "Just scan it, and that's how much she'll get back". LOL. Anyway.....here's what the email read:
Dear Rite Aid Customer,
We are writing to inform you that Novartis Consumer Health, Inc. is voluntarily recalling all lots of select bottle sizes of Excedrin® and NoDoz® products with expiry dates of December 20, 2014 or earlier, as well as Bufferin® and Gas-X Prevention® products with expiry dates of December 20, 2013 or earlier, in the United States.
We are taking this action as a precautionary measure, because the products may contain stray tablets, capsules, or caplets from other products, or contain broken or chipped tablets. We are not aware of any adverse events reported with the issues leading to the recall. However, we believe that a comprehensive recall as a precautionary measure is in the best interest of consumers who trust and rely on our products. If you have any questions or are experiencing an adverse event, you should contact your physician or heathcare provider as soon as possible. Consumers should also report the adverse event to the Novartis Consumer Relationship Center at 888-477-2403 (available Monday-Saturday 8 a.m. to 10 p.m. Eastern Time).
If you have any questions about the voluntary recall or how to obtain a refund from Novartis Consumer Health, Please visit www.novartisotc.com or contact the Novartis Consumer Relationship Center.
Recalled Novartis Consumer Health products can also be returned to any Rite Aid store for a full refund.

I personally would like to apologize to all my readers who signed up becauase of my previous post. Believe me, I try my best to only post legit deals with all the small print (if any). Used $1/1 coupons which made them free
earned $3 Up rewards ($1 wyb 3, limit 4)

8 Up&Up paper towel single rolls on sale for $.99 (reg. $1.29)
Used 8 $1/1 printable coupons on Target.com
